Technology is not only an essential part of the education process but one that can enrich learning in a myriad of ways. With access to laptops, we can begin bridging the technological divide that exists in NYC public schools, and subsequently, deepen science learning with online simulations, virtual dissections, stop motion animation, and much more! Access to technology in the classroom also enables me to cultivate a culture of digital literacy and safety. In a world of conflicting information on topics ranging from climate change to the spread of disease, learning how to engage and think critically about the information on the internet (while being safe and cautious) is an essential part of the education process.

About my class
