I have been working to implement a book club that your student will be participating in soon. As part of our curriculum for fifth grade, we are planning a fun unit on the genre of fantasy. Each child will read books 1 and 2 in a series of their choosing and collaborate with their book club to analyze author’s craft, character development, and compare themes across two texts by the same author. Here is where we need your help – we are currently trying to secure copies of a fantasy books for each child to read. I have created a Donor’s Choose grant to help fund our need.
