Education is veering away from the traditional classroom setting where desks accommodate individual students in rows and columns. The stuffy learning environments of yesteryear are being transformed for the benefit of students. Many teachers, like myself, are embracing flexible seating to create a comfortable environment and an inviting atmosphere to serve the needs of our young learners.These flexible seating options will provide a variety of settings from which kids can choose to meet their needs in the classroom. Seating options will be versatile, and my students will learn how to monitor their own needs and make adjustments so that they can maximize their focus and engagement in the classroom.
