Every March our school studies marine habitats using the Marine Activities Research and Education materials from Lawrence Hall of Science. From Ponds in Kindergarten to Open Oceans in fifth grade, our students learn about many unique habitats. Fourth grade is lucky enough to study the Kelp Forest. We are too far from Monterey to go to the aquarium, so we are bringing the Marine Science Institute to our school this year. We are very excited to see live animals that make the kelp forest their home. Not only will our fourth graders be able to see these wonders, but our students from the four SPED classes have a special presentation just for them. We are so excited to have this opportunity, and we want to thank you in advance for your support.
