The mobile cart will allow us to store the materials and move from room to room to provide therapy where there is room that day. The room that we currently store our materials in is used for meetings, to store other materials, laminate and many other uses so many days it is not available and there are times that we can not enter to get our materials. If students can complete the tasks while playing an exciting game as well as when provided with more traditional activities they will carry over their skills to the classroom more successfully. This small school has a few essentials for speech therapy however the students really get excited when new materials are introduced and they deserve to have varied, interesting therapy. A majority of the students are in the elementary portion of the school however their goals and objectives are varied so games that are not specifically developed for specific goals allow the therapist to work with students with different objectives in one group together and have fun while learning what they need to learn. Games like Honeycomb tree, Duck Duck Goose, and Jumpin' Monkeys provide fun learning time and allow the therapist to use materials that target their individualized goals to ensure that every student receives what they need!
