With the items I have chosen, I will be able to give my students more supplementation and differentiation in Math and Literacy. Some of my students struggle, so extra supplements would benefit them to further comprehend concepts in both Math and Literacy, which are the top two focus areas in second grade. Implementing the resources I chose, I will be able to put together a Guided Math intervention as well as extend the students who are at a higher learning goal. I will be able to boost my current Reading Centers with more intensive activities. Helping students focus to better learn is a main concern of mine. The students in my class are very active and that deters the learning. With flexible seating, they will be able to move around, yet stay focused at their table or desk to procure knowledge and retain it better.
