The computer in our classroom is 12 years old which means that it is extremely outdated and does not process quick enough for giving notes or presentations. Each semester I have students complete a research project and present them to the class. I also teach a literature and history class when we study different time periods throughout history. With this, we watch videos explaining different cultures and take notes about each. With a new computer we will be able to accomplish more each class, and study more throughout the year as a result. I will also be downloading editing software to help my students complete scenic, lighting, and costume designs.
