Miniature objects will help us to target speech and language goals. These materials are organized by sound, so we can choose specific containers to work on a student's goals. These will allow us to work on specific sounds in a fun and hands-on way. We can also talk about the items, learning how to describe items (talking about what category/group something is in, what the item is used for, what it looks like), compare and contrast the items (name similarities and differences), and even to make requests for the different items. These items can be used to target a variety of goals and will help to make sessions exciting and fun because the items can be held, manipulated, and described.

About my class
