Our newly built field concession stand is operated mostly by students and overseen by the parents during sports events. Our football games are during the fall season and our games begin in the middle of August when the weather is steaming hot. Our visitors, students, faculty and parents always ask for frozen treat products to help them cool down. The students will learn about community service. As we want to give students the opportunity to participate in real-life experiences, we welcome them to volunteer to operate the concession stand. These volunteering hours help them fill the community outreach requirements set by the school. They will also learn social skills. Volunteer students learn how to be dependable, responsible and courteous. Their experience includes setting up the concession stand, selling hot and cold items as well as cleaning up and closing up at the end of the events. Thank you very much for your consideration.
