Every student that enters my room asks, "when do we get to play that?!", pointing to my ukuleles hanging on the wall. I tell them that some day we will play them, especially in grades 3-5. Class size increase and wear and tear from the years on our current ukuleles mean that not every child will get to play a ukulele during class. I want to change this and give my kids the quality and opportunity that they deserve! With 20 ukuleles, I can retire the ones that are broken and give every child a ukulele to play in class.
