I am requesting higher level literacy and math center materials for my students. I am beginning a new year by teaching kindergarten instead of first grade and I need grade level appropriate activities for my students. These donations will provide much needed access to high level learning centers in the classroom. They will be used for both independent and guided centers in math and ELA. My students will be provided with more opportunities to practice skills that they are required to know in a fun hands-on way. These games will give my students a step ahead of the other children because they will be able to practice using manipulatives and small group discussion.
