What do you do when you have complex, smart ideas, and a minimal vocabulary? You lean on the motivation of video technology to shoot your learning forward! Of course, this is a huge 21st century skill. Although we are fortunate enough to have a tablet for each student, they are not user-friendly enough for the kids to create media independently. The iMovie application's "trailer" option gives kids the support they need to make an exciting first project combining text, voice-over narration, background music, and green-screen videos. We're working on monarch butterflies and hope to use the iPad for videos about our upcoming trip to the state capital. We're including an OtterBox iPad case so that exuberant students can handle the iPad safely!
