My classroom can be a very business like environment. Students engage in hard work and struggle daily. I want them to have a place they can read or work comfortably on the occasions they get the opportunity for independent reading. We are requesting a lounger, a couch and a double decko cushion. By creating inviting spaces filled with comfortable furniture, students will be able to curl up with a good book and enjoy the wonder of reading. It's something I really want for my students since they so often feel the struggle and frustration when reading. I want them to know the magic of reading a good text and get lost in a book.
