These materials will provide opportunities for my students to build social and emotional skills by playing board games. For many months, we are stuck inside for recess. Most of the time during inside recess, the students will play by themselves on their school-issued computer. My students may sit close to other students, but they are not building any social skills. These games will provide entertainment as well as a positive learning experience. My students will have to follow rules, work together and learn how to be a good sport towards peers. These board games require minimal upkeep and are very sturdy to be used for many years.
