I would like my students to stay up to date on the latest research. Many schools are giving up on texts books, and rightfully so. The world is changing everyday. Our students need to be able to use technology to learn how to solve problems and find reliable sort through information. For example, my students are currently researching ecosystem disruptions and the costs it has on the economy. We currently have to do most of the research at in the computer lab or library. This is why I would like to have chromebooks. Students learning how to find reliable information on their own is an important skill that is utilized by all disciplines and walks of life.
