These materials will make a huge impact in my student’s learning. As of right now, my classroom only has a few working headphones. The headsets with microphones that I have selected will help my students improve their English listening and speaking comprehension skills. These will allow them to use an interactive software that will allow them to practice communicating better with the outside world. Furthermore, the projection camera will grant me the ability to project books and other materials onto our SmartBoard, making the activities interactive. Being an eco-conscious teacher, this will also limit the amount of copies and paper being used. These materials will allow my students to gain confidence in achieving their academic goals.
