A Qball would encourage more participation and help all students be heard well by the rest of the class. A Qball would help the quiet speakers be heard. It would also help any students who suffer from a hearing impairment. I personally suffer from tinnitus, so a Q ball would help me to interact and respond better to the quiet students. My students love to get involved in discussions and this would give them power to have their thoughts heard and validated. It would help in debates by letting others know who is speaking and reminding them to be respectful.
