During the day, the students are required to take notes. Rocketbooks will allow students to write and illustrate notes taken in class and then the notes can be sent digitally to both the teacher or personal files. Brain research shows that information written by hand will be retained more than when typed. The Rocketbooks can be wiped clean and reused by other classmates.
Rocketbooks will help make our school more green while using an excellent teacher pedagogy.
The Rocketbooks will allow students to handwrite their notes and the digitally send them to a teacher and personal files. Many educational studies have shown that students will retain more information when written versus being typed. The students are also able to add illustrations to their notes, which will also transfer to files. The pens will be used to write in the notebooks. Classes will be assigned pens and they will remain in the classroom. The iPod will be used to scan the QR code in the notebook, which allows the notes to be sent to specific files.
Many schools our school are going paperless and Rocketbooks will help us join our peers in this district-wide movement.
The Rocketbooks will help our young students become strong 21st-Century Learners.
