The books and games I'm requesting for my kids will help them be engaged during therapy sessions. Games and books are a great way to engage students while still targeting their goals. Therapy sessions range from 15-30 min of language enrichment. It is important to make each session meaningful and productive. With these materials, the students will be engaged and have the ability to grow in their academic, social and communication skills. Books will assist their literacy skills, as well as target comprehension goals. Books are a great way to target sequencing skills, retelling and comprehension. Games will not only make therapy fun and engaging, but will also foster social communication.
