I am asking for headphones and computer mice for my students so that they are able to participate in educational computer programs. Students will use the headphones and computer mice daily as they participate in assignments which support academics and digital literacy skills. Students are expected to build 21st-century digital skills early in their lives. Districts are now incorporating digital educational programs which provide individualized learning and support for students. For example, my English Language Learners are using Lexia Core 5 to improve their phonics and reading comprehension skills. The headphones I am asking for will allow them to clearly hear the sounds of the English language so that they can develop their own ability to understand and use the language.
