As a 2nd grade teacher I am always referencing many places around the world- the journey of Marco Polo, the Mayflower voyage across the Atlantic. I also read the Magic Tree House series where the characters travel the globe. I would love to have a pull down map as a visual in my classroom to show my students where these places are located, we can place stickers on the map to show the places we have learned about. We also study landforms and their locations and to be able to reference this pull down map will make a huge difference to my teaching.
