With these books my students will be able to continue reading current and relevant young adult books while building their comprehension and writing skills. We will tie in current articles as well as other stories to expand upon the novel and compare it to the previous novel we read. Books like this are meaningful to them because they see themselves in the main character. Being able to make a personal connection makes them love the book even more! And what teacher does not want their students to love reading as much as they do? We are hoping to be able to get reading ASAP!

About my class
