Using these mats can help students keep at least 6 feet apart while working on reaction time. Reaction time is an important skill to develop in elementary school to be able to transfer over to other sports and activities like; tennis, basketball, football, track and filed and many other activities. In early child students can use these to help practice direction (up, down, left, right) and colors. Being able to work on direction now will help students with spatial awareness and understanding where their bodies are in relation to objects .
