These materials will help me, and my aides teach our students in unorthodox and fun ways that are tailored to their abilities. Learning vocational skills (like recycling, mail delivery, etc.) teaches my students valuable skills that they can learn to potentially get a job after high school. These students can also learn to be more independent and have a purpose in life. Everyone wants to feel that they belong and everyone wants to have a purpose in life. Please help my classroom give students with intellectual disabilities the education they deserve.
