The Sixth grade projects will provide rigorous math and literacy activities that will enhance their understanding of the standards being taught such as vocabulary and the mathematical process skills. This will help the students to understand the materials in depth. The students will complete hands on game and activities that relate to the Illustrative Math curriculum. There will be literacy projects such as essay writing for the different genres. Students will play games and complete assignments that are relevant to the Common Core State State Standards. The devices will also be used to assess the students mastery of the standards.
