The materials we are hoping to get are going to help our students learn to read. The students in our class have severe to profound disabilities. The items being purchased will allow us to vary the instruction in order to keep it interesting for the students and keep them engaged. Some of the items will be used in order to present information like the dry erase index cards and table top displays. Other items like the onset and rime change a word will allow for further education on reading by checking for understanding. The talker buttons will allow us to give a voice to those students that are nonverbal by programing responses for them.
