Where do I begin, the door will open to a gateway of knowledge. They will be able to play Kahoot, Quizzizz, learn key concepts through technology. Students in special education always get overlooked and I have given these students the sense of worth and accomplishment. A smile and a good attitude can make anyone’s day but when I hear “can we play kahoot or is there another way we can learn this?” I know there is but, with a limited amount of computers it becomes difficult to give my students that outlet. There are other sites such as Epic for books online that can be read to students and they can engage with. This would be highly beneficial especially since most students don’t like to read. Please help my students be college, career, and technology ready! With computers that are up to date. Being able to assign work interactively will help gauge students learning and show them that there are other ways to learn. I am big on differentiation and giving my students the tools would give them the cutting edge they need to be successful in this day and age. My students are always asking can we do this on a computer, can we play an interactive games and 9 times out of 10 my answer has to be no because there are not enough working computers on campus for us to use. Please take into account that we truly need technology to help us learn and grow. Students will learn key math concepts that they need to master, reading skills such as Inferencing, text structure, author's purpose, summarizing, and practicing online modules for STAAR which is the state exam for Texas.
