My students experience stress on a daily basis. They struggle with coming to school and being successful, not because of things that they can control but because of things that happen beyond their control. Many of them come to school because we are a safe haven for them. Having stress release items such stress balls and science tubes will allow them to learn coping skills and to be able to release tension from the outside world so that they are successful in the classroom. This will allow them to become productive citizens within the society in which we live and dwell.
