These new math counters will help bring math to life for my busy hands-on learners. I am a first-year teacher and many of my supplies are old, outdated, or missing essential pieces. The students need the touch and feel of real materials and right now I can't always give them that experience because of the shortage of materials. My students are noticeably more engaged when they are able to actively take part in the movement of materials. I have noticed many of my students having interests in how things work or why things work the way they do. Students are curious in kindergarten and I want to foster that curiosity through their play and exploration. Using various STEAM materials and building manipulatives is one way to do that. Different students thrive in different situations and I want to give my students the chance to thrive in a way they may not have been able to before. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional hands-on opportunities to make their learning more meaningful. Thank you for your support in helping these kindergarteners enjoy exploration and learning!
