Success begins with a plan-an organized plan. In order for my students to be successful it is imperative for them to begin each day in an organized fashion. Using cinch sacks, folders, and freshly sharpened pencils is a great way to eliminate the distraction of disorganization. This allows my students to focus on what is truly important-education at it's core. When a student is overwhelmed with disorganization it often takes a significant amount of time to refocus his or her energy on learning. Things are simple as pencils, cinch sacks, and folders are easy items to overlook-but they are also easy items to prevent major meltdowns.
