Flexible seating options allow students to make choices in their independent learning. With a variety of flexible seating options in my classroom students will be able to be engaged during independent reading, buddy reading and other centers during math and English language arts instruction. The seating I have selected will be such an exciting enhancement in my classroom for all of my students. The bean bag chairs and cushion seats will be a comfortable space for children to read around the room. I have seen a positive impact in classrooms using flexible seating and I hope to allow my students the same excitement a choice in seating and learning environment can create.
