I am requesting a document scanner so that I can provide a more interactive teaching experience for my students. I want to scan worksheets I have onto my Ipad in order to be able to project the worksheet and walk around while completing the worksheet on the board at the same time. Currently, I have to use my document camera, which limits me to stay in the same place, With a document scanner, I can save blackline masters of worksheets other teachers give to me and I can upload worksheets to my Ipad. This way I can walk around the classroom and assist students with their worksheets​ while completing the same one on the board. It will assist me in catching errors during the process and fixing them immediately instead of having to correct assignments and fix misconceptions later. This will save valuable amounts of class time and help me help students immediately.
