My students love to read! We have a block of time in our day where my students are allowed to pick a book of their choice and a place to sit. As of today, my kids use laundry baskets, a rocking chair, the floor with pillows and their desk. My students would be so excited to see these comfy blue seats with adjustable backs in our classroom. These seats will also be used during flex seating when my students are allowed to choose where to sit during independent work time! I have seen increased engagement when they get to pick where to sit!
