My students work on expanding language development by creating sentences and stories during their speech therapy. Sometimes coming up with their own stories and ideas is challenging, though; however, with these wordless picture books, the students will have amazing opportunities to tell stories however they want and with their own words. Wordless picture books will help my students to bridge the gap between their difficulties with expressive language and their vivid imaginations. When presented with these books, my students will have the opportunity to practice their expressive language skills, including vocabulary, sentence structure, narrative cohesion, and verbal fluency. Truly, the possibilities are endless.
