One of the best things that you can do to help maintain a clean and healthy classroom is to teach your students about health and hygiene. You teach them about everything else, so why not teach them about feeling beautiful which will build their self esteem from as early as Kindergarten. Healthy students are better on all levels of academic achievement—academic performance, education behavior, and cognitive skills and attitudes. It is my goal to reduce how often students are distracted during the school day. I would provide my students with chapsticks, vaseline, lotion, tooth brush and toothpaste, hair comb, hair brush, deodorant, mouth wash, dental floss, shampoo, hair conditioner, etc. My goal is to teach my students the importance of personal hygiene, caring for your skin, lips, teeth, hair and overall body so they can feel confident, loved and beautiful. All students want to learn. I believe as a classroom teacher, that learning should be uninterrupted.
