In my classes students contribute a great deal of information in the form of stories from their own lives and contributions to class conversations. We use this information as the basis for speaking and writing activities. As part of this interactive approach to teaching Spanish, every class session we co-create a text about the material we have discussed. I use my document camera to project the texts we co-create in class. Unfortunately, my school has purchased relatively low-quality document cameras for classroom use. The images on the projector screen wiggle and swim as the document camera attempts to adjust its focus.
