In order for my students to reach their maximum learning potential, they need to feel safe and accepted! My classroom provides a relaxing and safe environment for them to learn in! We focus on our differences in a positive way! These sensory items, such as the body socks, wobble chairs and liquid tiles allow them to explore the area and release anxiety and tension. Then they are ready to learn! Many of my students struggle with reading. They will really enjoy the SnapWord sight word cards. These cards have been tested in my room, when I borrowed from another teacher, and they were a success! I would love to have my own complete set so each of my sight word learners can use the ones that are on their level.
