My goal this year is to really put my students in charge of their learning. By adding things like chrome books to our classroom, they have more opportunities for research. We currently share chrome books between a few classrooms which will be much more difficult this year as our class sizes are increasing. Our room will be tight with 30 students per class. If we were to house a few more chrome books in our room, students would be able to access online resources more often. I also want to purchase some flexible seating for my classroom. The chairs we expect our students to sit in all day are rough on the back. I have trouble sitting through a training in those chairs and not fidgeting or getting up. Flexible seating gives students a chance for a change of scenery in the class and a place to relax so they can focus more on their work and less on how uncomfortable they are.
