I teach 25 Kindergartners in a Dual Language Setting and in full distance learning. Many of my students do not speak Spanish and are learning a second language for the first time. My students attend a Title 1 school which is racially and economically diverse. Every student qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. My students are young 5 year olds that are excited and nervous about learning a second language. It is essential to provide them the most engaging and captivating learning experience since, for many, this is their first school experience. As their teacher, my goal is to foster their curiosity and love of learning especially while in distance learning. Using puppets as props to create engaging learning videos and live teaching lessons will help engage student learning and sustain their attention for a longer period of time. I hope you can make this possible for my amazing Kindergartners. Thank you!
