Fifth grade students have the pressure of standardized testing in the area of science at the end of the year on all science standards learned since 3rd grade. In order to make all of that scientific learning engaging and memorable, students should have access to coding materials, spheros, 3D models of the solar system or the human body. They should be able to build structures to see how force in motion works or build circuits with SNAP circuits. Having access to these STEM kits will promote students to understand the conceptual background on how science works. Students can collaborate or work independently with the STEM technology to access pertain knowledge about standards that were didn't resonate with them when they read their text. This kits will bring science to life.
