My students have a natural curiosity for the world around them. Books are a great way to stimulate learning and engagement at this young age. The assortment of fiction and non-fiction on my project list will help my students to gain valuable knowledge of the world around them. These new books will give my students the opportunity to learn the concrete foundations of reading. These books will help integrate many of our science and social study activities into our reading and writing. Using these books my students will engage in meaningful vocabulary lessons, literacy skills, and of course the benefit of using their imaginations and thinking skills!
