At our public, urban, comprehensive high school for the Gifted and Talented students have big dreams and the talent to match, yet they share all the vicissitudes of adolescence in a big city that you might imagine. You can be sure they deserve all the support and opportunity we can provide. Our school is located north of downtown, with easy access to cultural and educational facilities. We attract students from all parts of the city. The school has recently added its high school, building onto a successful 3-8 elementary program. With a pioneering AP Capstone program, the high school is fast attracting the Best and Brightest in our city. Our enrollment of about 500 offers a personalized experience, in a tight-knit supportive community. In the midst of this, I teach American Authors and AP English Language and Composition, making literature and rhetoric come to life for this next generation of thinkers and doers.
