The students in our autistic support classrooms are learning practical skills that are applied to their education of social interaction and life-skills. Through the daily social skills instruction, our students in the Autistic Support classrooms have begun taking on projects that enhance their own application of real-life skills, but also benefit the entire student body! The use of a washer and dryer will allow the students to create a school-wide service project where they create order forms, collect clothing, and apply the skills in a business-model. They will support athletics as well as our students in situations where they need laundry supports!

About my class
