Currently, our classroom library is running very low on book and other texts that interest my students. This project will help expose my students to additional types of nonfiction texts and provide our library with more books. With more books, students have more options to choose from. My hope is that by adding more books and magazine, students will naturally become more eager to read. This will help them increase their reading levels in preparation for their end of year state assessment. I also hope that this donation with put the joy back in reading that kids need in order for them to have a desire to visit the library.
