These are unprecedented times that are requiring school-based speech-language pathologists to become creative with technology in order to provide teletherapy services for our students. The document scanner and headset with microphone will be put to use immediately as our school district is requiring this new method of services to be implemented now. These office supplies will be useful now during the pandemic, and after when we return to normalcy, in providing literacy-based activities to my students. Using the scanner, I can bring books to life and make materials I already have become interactive during teletherapy, and on the computers when I return to school. I consider this temporary delivery service model to be a challenge that will only increase my skill set for my return to the classroom.
