The first grade class is a group of kids who have never had a real school year. Recess time is an important part of the day where students can socialize and unwind after working hard in the classroom. The balls, jump ropes, and hula hoops will give our students a lot of fun, engaging resources during recess. The equipment cart will allow us to store these safely for each day. These resources will allow more engagement with other students and promote health and exercise. I know these resources will excite our students as well as help with motor skills that many students lack. Young students need time to exert their energy in a healthy and fun way to help them focus more in the classroom.
