Our student's deal with so much adversity outside our school doors. At times, they just need a safe, calm place to learn how to express their emotions. Kids seek my office during times of crisis and when they're feeling overwhelmed, at times just needing a sensory break. I want to give them a welcoming, safe, and soothing environment that allows them to practice positive coping skills and mindfulness. Our students have so much light and potential. I want to plant positive seeds that will eventually grow into beautiful, positive, and productive adults.

About my class
