Building with magnetic shapes and patterns is a unique way to learn and create. These tools and the children's imagination can create spatial concepts that the children have never seen before. Children can make simple objects and difficult projects. There is nothing more useful in a classroom of mostly 2-dimensional study materials to 3-dimensional materials. This assists the children in the understanding of area and perimeter; which is a very difficult concept for them to understand. They are able to physically touch the area of a shape. They are able to build structures that extend beyond the average measurement. These tools will increase engagement with the autistic children.
