Right now our school has the book Realidades, and they have been using that book for a very long time. I asked some students that are now seniors what they learned in this class before and they said hobbies, food, etc. but I believe our culture, background, and history is more than just music and food. I want to take my current and future students to another level where they are going to be learning Spanish but from another perspective. This is going to help them understand more about causes of why our parents came to the US, what they had to go through, and historical reasons that made our people in the past come to this beautiful country.

About my class
