I am starting my fourth year of teaching physical education, but this is my first year at this school. The equipment in my closet is too old and too big for the younger students. This donation would allow me to give my students a variety of equipment to choose from to develop their skills, to be more successful, and to stay active! The smaller sized basketballs will allow those with smaller hands to dribble and shoot better. The soft and light volleyballs will help students to be more successful when passing, setting, and serving. The oversized volleyball will be used for a fun culminating game to end the unit. When students have equipment that they are successful with, they are more likely to keep playing outside of class.
